The Role

Responsibilities would include:

Strategic Support: Helping to prepare regular cashflow reporting, budget management. Provide financial data and P&L analysis to business unit managers. Working closely with them to provide guidance and support.

Financial Reporting & Analysis: Oversight and coordination of monthly and end-of-period financial reports, including accruals, prepayments, and journal entries. GL ownership.

Compliance & Audit: Ensure all financial activities meet Australian accounting standards and regulations. You will also assist with external audits.

Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior accounting staff with the support of the Finance Manager.

Your Background

We are looking for candidates who:

Are fully CA or CPA qualified.

Are currently in a senior-level accounting role, with evidence of business partnering on your resume.

You are able to/have reviewed junior team members' work.

Have strong month-end reporting experience, as well as budgeting and forecasting on your resume.

Have excellent communication skills and will be confident explaining complex scenarios & ideas to non-finance.

Work with integrity, collaboration and have a strong sense of purpose.

There will be a preference to candidates who have worked in a large, complex organisation, OR have worked in Aged Care, Healthcare, or a large NFP provider.
