The Opportunity

Onsite Vehicle Inspections is seeking the experience of a Heavy Vehicle mechanic wanting to get off the tools! You will be based in our workshop in Midvale.

Examine vehicles for compliance with vehicle standards.

Assess vehicle modifications and issue modification approval certificates.

Prepare accurate written reports on the outcome of vehicle inspections.

Liaise with customers regarding the inspections being carried out.

Provide advisory service to customers on statutory and licensing requirements.

Manage your workload throughout the day.

What we look for

HR Class Drivers License – Essential

Current Trade Certificate – Essential

Australian Resident with permanent working rights – Essential

Minimum 2 years’ post-trade experience as a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic – Essential

Motor Vehicle Repairers certificate or be able to obtain one

National Police Clearance or be able to obtain one

Professional, capable, and positive attitude

Understanding and application of legislation, policies, and procedures

Basic computer skills

Willingness to learn and follow directions

Loyalty and accountability

Effective time management skills

Ability to thrive under pressure in dynamic environments

Analytical and problem-solving skills
