Start your engines! Aerial Access is seeking a heavy diesel mechanic in Hobart to join the team and deliver the ultimate service to our clients and customers.
The work:
The key responsibility of this role is to ensure that the maintenance and regular servicing occurs on all our diesel fleet vehicles, equipment, and machinery including Elevated Work Platform's (EWP), tippers, chippers, specialised all-terrain equipment, and excavators. You will rotate throughout the day between duties such as:
Carrying out diagnosis and minor body repairs
Inspections, maintenance and repairing of transmissions, driveline and sub-assemblies
Service, maintain and repair various steering, suspension, braking systems and the hydraulic systems issues
Testing and adjusting parts to ensure proper and safe performance of plant, machinery, and vehicles
Maintaining compliance with environmental and WHS relations, as well as any client mandated contractual requirements

What you will need:
A valid driver’s licence
Mechanical qualification (Cert III Minimum)
A highly motivated, positive attitude
Desirable, but not essential:
Auto Electrical experience highly regarded
A valid MR/HR highly desirable (or a willingness to obtain)
Understanding of hydraulic systems desirable
