Customer Service Representative – Lithgow Contact Centre
Multiple Positions Available (10 roles)

  • Location: Lithgow Contact Centre
  • Duration 3 October 2025 – 6 April 2026
  • Pay Rate: $37.39 per hour + Superannuation
  • Hours: 35 hours per week (7-hour days, Monday–Friday, rotating roster between 7:00am – 7:00pm)

About the Role
Service NSW is seeking motivated and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Customer Service Representatives within the Road Safety 2 lines. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic contact centre environment, assisting the community with important government services.

As part of the team, you will:

  • Respond to a wide range of customer enquiries across multiple channels
  • Provide accurate information and high-quality service aligned with Service NSW values
  • Maintain records and update systems with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Assist customers with complaints and escalated enquiries, ensuring timely resolutions
  • Work collaboratively in a supportive and fast-paced team environment

Key Details

  • Assessment Centre: Candidates must attend an in-person assessment at our Lithgow Contact Centre (approx. 90 minutes).
  • Roster: Rotating two-week roster (early, mid, late shifts). You’ll never work the same shift two rosters in a row.
  • Checks: Pre-employment checks apply, including Police Check (High Risk) and two reference checks.
  • Eligibility: Applicants must be based in NSW.

What We’re Looking for We are seeking candidates with:

  • 2–3 years’ experience in customer service (call centre, retail, administration)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Previous government experience (desirable but not required)
  • Intermediate computer skills – Microsoft Office, Outlook, Teams, typing and email etiquette
  • The ability to quickly learn new systems and processes
  • A positive, professional, and resilient approach when handling customer enquiries
