About the role

As a community/home support worker, you will work alongside our clients and their families to provide assistance within their homes. Key responsibilities include:

· Medication reminders

· Transportation to shops, activities, and medical appointments

· Cleaning and tidying

· Providing social support

· Offering companionship

· Assisting with personal hygiene, including showering

· Food preparation and assistance

· Ensuring security and safety

· Conducting personal safety pendant checks

· Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team

About you:

· Good interpersonal skills & written/verbal communication skills

· Reliable & dependable

· Ability to build rapport & good working relationships

· Comfortable using technology (i.e. mobile app) for accessing rosters & recording customer notes/feedback

Requirements :

• Experience in aged care or disability care desirable but not essential
• Current Driver's Licence
• Reliable accessible fully insured vehicle
• Eligibility to work in Australia

Minimum availability 25hrs per week, Available to work weekends and between hours of 7.00am to 7.00pm

Qualifications & Clearances

· Certificate 3 in Aged/Community/Disability Care

· Police Clearance

· Current drivers licence
