About the Role ...

We currently have an opportunity for a highly motivated and proactive individual to join us as a Tyre Fitter at Tyrepower Weipa.

If you're mechanically minded, can solve problems, work without supervision, and provide exceptional customer service, this role may be the one for you.

Your duties will include:

Tyre Fitting of all types and sizes

Actively participate in daily Pre-Starts

Wheel Balancing

Puncture Repairs & Tyre Inspections

Assisting workshop staff with other day-to-day tasks

Following job cards & recording work completed and parts used

Carrying out daily pre-checks on all equipment

Maintaining a clean & organised work area

Assist with inventory management of tyres and supplies

Assisting customers when required

To succeed in this role you will need the following skills and attributes:

Current Drivers licence – manual and automatic (essential)

Willingness to adhere to policies and procedures

Experience in tyre fitting and wheel balancing

Good communication skills (verbal and written)

Can do attitude, punctual and reliable

High attention to detail

Strong customer service focus

Pride in workmanship

Well presented
