We are seeking a 1st, 2nd, 3rd or 4th year apprentice cabinet maker to join our small supportive team in Seven Hills
ABOUT US:
We have been established for over 26 years
We work for Sydney's leading architects - we focus on residential work only
We manufacture custom joinery and bespoke furniture using the latest technology and traditional hand tools
We provide our workers with all power tools, hand tools and PPE required for their work
We provide a supportive and safe work environment
THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT:
Will learn how to operate a CNC, edgebander, thicknesser/jointer, panel saw as well as more traditional hand tools - some experience using these tools/equipment is preferred but not essential
Will learn how to interpret architectural/shop drawings
Will learn how to set out and install joinery
Having a current driver's license and white card is beneficial
Must have a genuine interest in woodworking
Must be ready to commit to, or complete, a 4 year apprenticeship
Pay rate is negotiable based on experience of applicant, we pay above award wage.
