About the role

We are seeking an experienced Installer/All-rounder to join the team at Shade Engineering, a leading provider of high-quality Shade Structures based in South Guildford. As an Installer, you will play a crucial role in delivering our products and services to our valued commercial and residential customers. This is a full-time position, offering the opportunity to be part of a dynamic and growing organisation.

What you'll be doing

Efficiently install a variety of shade products from 10m2 to 1,000m2 including car park shades, large umbrellas and shade sails and structures

Carefully measure and prepare work areas to ensure a professional and seamless installation

Maintain a high level of workmanship and attention to detail to meet our company's high quality standards

Provide excellent customer service by addressing any queries or concerns during the installation process

Work collaboratively with the sales and project management teams to ensure customer satisfaction

Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment throughout the installation process

What we're looking for

Minimum 2 years of experience as an Installer/All-rounder or in a similar role within the building trades industry

Strong practical skills and the ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications

Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work

A team-oriented attitude and the willingness to collaborate with colleagues

A valid driver's licence and reliable transportation to get to our South Guildford workshop

Excellent communication, problem-solving, and time management skills

High levels of self-motivation
