Industrial & Employment Lawyer
3–8 years PAE | Based in South Perth | Pay commensurate with experience

We are an employment and industrial law firm representing trade unions and their members. We are seeking a motivated and committed lawyer to join our team.

About the role
You will be responsible for advising and representing clients in a range of employment and industrial relations matters. This role involves both advisory work and litigation, including running matters to a final resolution across various courts and tribunals.

Key responsibilities include:

Advising clients on employment and industrial relations issues.

Preparing and progressing matters before the Federal Court, Federal Circuit and Family Court (Division 2), the Industrial Magistrates Court of WA, the WA Industrial Relations Commission, and the Fair Work Commission.

Conducting research, preparing evidence and submissions, and managing case files.

Working collaboratively within a team environment, while also handling matters independently.

About you
To be successful in this role, you will have:

3–8 years post-admission experience in employment/industrial law.

Proven experience advising clients on ER/IR matters.

Demonstrated ability to commence, manage, and resolve matters through to final determination across relevant jurisdictions.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Familiarity with LEAP practice management software (desirable but not essential).
