About Us
LeisureSafe is a specialist provider of safety, compliance and operational management solutions for aquatic and leisure facilities across Australia. We are proud to partner with Wattle Range Council to operate Millicent Swimming Lake, Penola Pool and Nangwarry Pool for the community.
We are now recruiting casual Lifeguards and Swim Instructors for the upcoming season.
The Roles
Lifeguards (Penola Pool, Nangwarry Pool & Millicent Swimming Lake)
Supervise patrons to ensure safe use of pools and surrounds.
Respond to incidents and perform rescues when required.
Provide first aid and CPR as necessary.
Conduct safety checks and assist with venue presentation.
Swim Instructors (Penola Pool)
Deliver engaging swimming lessons to children and adults.
Follow lesson plans and adapt to different learning needs.
Maintain a safe, positive and encouraging environment.
Communicate with parents, carers and participants.
About You
Weβre looking for enthusiastic, reliable and community-focused people who enjoy working in an aquatic environment. Candidates may apply for one or both roles depending on qualifications, intertest and ability. Unqualified candidates may apply if they are working towards qualification/certification.
Essential:
Lifeguards
Pool Lifeguard Certificate
Swimming Instructors
Swimming & Water Safety Teacher Certificate
Both Roles
Provide First Aid & CPR.
Working With Children Check (WWCC)
National Police Clearance
Desirable:
Previous experience in lifeguarding or swim teaching.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Availability to work weekends, public holidays and peak periods.
