Vac Truck Operator – Wastewater & Machine Servicing

GEM Resourcing is recruiting a reliable and physically capable Vacuum truck operator / Service Technician to join our team in Henderson, WA. This role is ideal for truck drivers, couriers, or individuals with experience in physically demanding work who is eager to learn machine servicing.

About the role:

As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for servicing machines, which includes vacuum truck operations, waste removal, machine cleaning, and customer interaction. This is a hands-on role requiring both driving and manual work.

Candidates must be able to demonstrate the following:

• Driving a Vacuum Truck (4000 litres) to various customer sites
• Pumping out wastewater from machines
• Cleaning machines inside and out following company protocols
• Refilling machines and dosing cleaning agents correctly
• Liaising with customers to ensure satisfaction and service updates
• Completing service records, including machine details, waste tracking, and required maintenance
• Adhering to all OH&S requirements when entering customer premises
• Maintaining company vehicles, ensuring they are stocked with necessary supplies

To be considered for these positions, you must be able to provide the following:

• MR License (Mandatory) – Must be comfortable driving a vacuum truck
• Controlled Waste License (Preferred, but not essential) – We can assist with obtaining this (approx. 10-day process)
• Ability to perform physically demanding work
• Strong attention to detail for documentation and service accuracy
• Willingness to undergo on-the-job training in machine servicing
• Professional approach and adherence to company uniform and safety standards
