Sunshine Social Cotton Tree is looking for a casual Kitchen Hand to join the team. 3–4 shifts available. Great opportunity to work in a fun, fast-paced café environment right in the heart of Cotton Tree.

The role involves managing the wash station, supporting food prep, and assisting the chefs during service

Our menu is built around the best of what’s local and in season — simple, thoughtful food that lets quality produce speak for itself. We’re focused on honest, ingredient-driven dishes that celebrate flavour, sustainability, and community. We are looking for an energetic, customer focussed, and detail-orientated chefs or cooks to join our team. If you are passionate about all things food and customer service we would love to hear from you.

We are open 7 days from 6:00am - 3pm so ideally you will be available at weekends (at least a Saturday or Sunday!) and a few extra days during the week. We are a vibrant bunch who like to have fun while we work in a fast-paced environment.

What makes you stand out?

Chefs or cooks:

2 years of kitchen experience in similar venues

Qualifications if you are a chef

Passion for quality produce

A genuine enthusiasm for customer service - a people person

Ambition to continually maintain high standards and further your skills

A positive attitude and approach

Ability to work in a team environment but also excels in an autonomous role

Excellent communication and time management
