About the Roles

These newly created Head of Learning and Teaching positions offer an outstanding opportunity for mature and experienced teachers who will be responsible for driving academic excellence from Prep to Year 12. As part of the academic leadership team, these HoLT positions provide the opportunity to the right candidates to guide and manage purposeful change that supports ongoing school improvement. These full-time teaching positions, commencing January 2026, are offered with the 3-year HoLT Position of Responsibility, and include competitive time and monetary allowances.

Working in close partnership with the section Principal, you will lead strategic improvement in learning and teaching across the primary or secondary years of the College. These positions exist to ensure high-quality curriculum and pedagogy that align with the College’s vision, strategic priorities and commitment to excellence in Christian education.

Plenty Valley Christian College (PVCC) is a kindergarten to Year 12, co-educational Christian College of more than 950 students. We are one College with five sub-schools: Kindergarten, Early Years, Junior Years, Middle Years and Senior Years.

The College is set in a magnificent semi-rural area with spectacular views to the ranges. Skills & Qualifications (Key Selection Criteria):

· Exemplary display of Christian ethics and activity

· Qualified teacher with current VIT registration

· A Masters level qualification in education, learning and teaching, or educational leadership (or commitment to this study)

· The ability to foster a culture of Chrisitan pedagogy and curriculum development

· Demonstrable skill in identifying and implementing significant improvement and change

· An ability to develop constructive relationships with teaching colleagues

· Commitment to fostering teamwork and collaboration
