About the role

Our client is seeking a contractor to join their team as a Building & Pest Inspector. You’ll focus mainly on pre-purchase inspections, identifying defects, assessing compliance, and preparing detailed reports that ensure safe and compliant property transactions.

Duties

• Identify structural defects, safety risks & compliance issues
• Conduct pre-purchase inspections (majority of workload)
• Produce detailed reports with actionable recommendations
• Inspect subfloors, roof cavities & external roofing areas
• Provide expert advice and client liaison

Skills & Experience

• Proven experience in building and/or pest inspections
• Certified in Timber Pest Management (CPPUPM3008 & CPPUPM3010) — or willingness to enrol
• Builder’s or Site Supervisor’s Licence required
• Strong attention to detail & professional reporting skills
• Police clearance, valid driver’s licence & reliable vehicle
