About the role

Coastal Boat Repairs is seeking an experienced Fibreglass/Timber Shipwright to join our team on a Full Time basis in Mandurah, WA. As a Shipwright, you will play a vital role in maintaining and repairing vessels, ensuring they are safe, seaworthy and well-maintained. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled trades professional to work in a dynamic and challenging marine environment.

What you'll be doing

Perform repairs and maintenance on a variety of composite and wooden boats.

Fabricate and install new components, such as hard tops, platforms and refurbishments.

Collaborate with the team to ensure efficient and high-quality work

Adhere to all safety protocols and best practices in the workplace

Keep detailed records of work completed and materials used

What we're looking for

Formal qualifications in boatbuilding or a related trades discipline

Extensive experience as a Shipwright, with a proven track record of successful marine repairs and maintenance

Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
