Role Overview

As a Project Manager, you will lead the delivery of complex electrical infrastructure works within a major renewable energy project. You will be responsible for end-to-end project management, including planning, budgeting, team leadership, stakeholder engagement, and compliance. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the renewable energy sector while working with a highly skilled and motivated team.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the setup and execution of new project sites, including documentation, compliance coordination, and crew planning.

Identify and manage project risks, long-lead items, and procurement needs.

Support onboarding and integration of new team members to ensure productivity.

Engage subcontractors and suppliers in accordance with company procurement protocols.

Monitor project budgets, track expenditures, and implement corrective actions as needed.

Define project scope, allocate resources, and coordinate staff and subcontractors.

Resolve design challenges and manage change orders efficiently.

Promote clean, safe, and well-organised work sites and equipment storage.

Maintain accurate records of costs, invoices, timesheets, and receipts.

Participate in weekly and monthly progress meetings with project and HSEQ managers.

Liaise with network authorities and clients to ensure compliance and avoid non-conformances.

Ensure site safety, identify training needs, and manage risk documentation.

Source quotations and procure materials for project delivery.

Contribute to pricing reviews for tenders and quotes.

Represent the company professionally and uphold its values in all interactions.

Promote and implement health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.

Lead bid development and tender preparation for future projects.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a relevant trade qualification (e.g., Electrician, Cable Jointer, Linesman).

Minimum 5 years’ experience in the Electrical Supply Industry.

Experience working on projects under major network authorities is highly desirable.

Completion of annual network authorisation and WHS refresher training.

Relevant tickets and competencies (e.g., Green Card).
