About the role

D and Y hair design is seeking a skilled and passionate Hairdresser to join our team in our Melbourne CBD salon. This is a full-time position, offering the opportunity to work in a vibrant and creative environment and contribute to the ongoing success of our established business.

What you'll be doing

Providing exceptional hairstyling and colouring services to our diverse clientele

Offering hair treatment recommendations and advice to ensure client satisfaction

Maintaining a high standard of hygiene and safety practices in the salon

Actively participating in team meetings and training sessions to enhance your skills

Assisting with the management of salon operations and inventory as required

What we're looking for

A relevant qualification in hairdressing or equivalent industry experience

Certificate III in Hairdressing or equivalent qualification is required

Demonstrated expertise in cutting, colouring, and styling techniques

Strong customer service orientation and the ability to build rapport with clients

Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards

A passion for the hair and beauty industry and a desire to continuously learn and grow

Minimum of 3+ years hairdressing experience is required
