NUsport is seeking passionate and reliable Pool Lifeguards to join our dynamic team in Newcastle. If you're safety-focused, customer-oriented, and ready to make a difference in a vibrant aquatic environment, we want to hear from you!

About the Role

As a Pool Lifeguard at NUsport, you'll play a vital role in maintaining a safe and enjoyable environment for all aquatic centre users. You'll be responsible for monitoring pool activity, responding to emergencies, and delivering exceptional customer service — all while ensuring our high safety standards are upheld.

What We’re Looking For

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Current Pool Lifeguard Certification

Current First Aid and CPR qualifications

Proven experience working as a pool lifeguard

Strong understanding of best practice pool operations

Knowledge of Work Health and Safety (WHS) policies and procedures

A proactive approach to aquatic safety

Outstanding customer service skills and a positive, professional attitude

The ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team

A valid Working with Children Check (NSW)
