About the role

The Yard WA is seeking a motivated and experienced Car Buyer to join our team on a contract basis. As a Car Buyer, you will play a crucial role in sourcing high-quality vehicles to support our growing business in the Bibra Lake, WA area. This is an excellent opportunity for a sales professional with a passion for the automotive industry and a keen eye for value.

PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A SUB-CONTRACTOR ROLE WITH HUGE EARNING POTENTIALS. VERY ATTRACTIVE FIXED COMMISSION PER VEHICLE BOUGHT.

We are expending very fast with over 100 cars in stock, we have our own workshop and selling and buying over 60 cars every month - from affordable daily runners to sought after 4x4's ranging from $5000 to $50.000. We are now looking for a motivated USED CARS BUYER to join our family team.

What you'll be doing

Actively search for and evaluate potential vehicle acquisitions to expand our inventory

Negotiate fair and competitive prices with private sellers and trade-in customers

Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to assess condition and value

Maintain detailed records of all vehicle purchases and related transactions

Work collaboratively with the sales team to ensure a seamless customer experience

Stay up-to-date with market trends, pricing, and industry developments

What we're looking for

MUST HAVE Minimum of 2 years' experience in a car buying or similar sales role

Strong negotiation and communication skills with the ability to build rapport with customers

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities

Keen eye for detail and the ability to accurately assess vehicle condition and value

Familiarity with automotive industry regulations and best practices

A passion for the automotive industry and a drive to succeed in a fast-paced environment
