Your new role

As an Excavator Operator, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality outcomes across civil construction, infrastructure, and land development projects. Working as part of a professional and safety-driven team, you will be responsible for operating excavators to complete tasks such as trenching, bulk earthworks, site preparation, backfilling, and detailed excavation. Your contribution will directly support the efficiency, safety, and overall success of projects spanning roadworks, utilities, and large-scale civil works. This position requires strong attention to detail, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to work collaboratively with supervisors, engineers, and labourers. By bringing technical expertise and reliability to each task, you will ensure that projects are completed to the highest standard, reinforcing the company's reputation for excellence and innovation within the civil construction industry.

What you’ll need to succeed

• Current Excavator Operator ticket/licence
• Demonstrated experience operating excavators in civil construction projects
• White Card certification to meet site entry requirements
• Skilled in bulk earthworks, trenching, and detailed excavation tasks
• Experience with GPS or millimetre GPS systems highly advantageous
• Effective communication skills to work closely with supervisors and team members
• Reliability and punctuality to ensure project schedules are met
• MR/HR truck licence highly advantageous for supporting site logistics
