Job Summary:

As a B-Double Interstate Truck Driver with Loadlink Logistics, you will be responsible for transporting general freight to various locations in Australia, ensuring timely and safe deliveries. You will operate well maintained late model prime movers equipped with the modern technology, receiving continuous support from our management and maintenance personnel. Your dedication to adhering to road safety regulations and delivering goods with utmost care will be vital to our success as a company.

Key Responsibilities:

Safely and efficiently operate a B-Double to transport general freight around Australia.

Comply with all National Heavy Vehicle Regulations and road safety laws.

Conduct pre start and post delivery inspections to ensure the vehicle's safety and report any maintenance issues promptly.

Plan routes effectively to ensure on-time deliveries and efficient fuel consumption.

Load and unload goods securely, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.

Maintain accurate work diary records of working hours, rest breaks, and any incidents or accidents.

Communicate effectively with management and provide updates on delivery status.

Maintain a clean and organized truck, inside and out.

Foster a positive and professional relationship with clients and other road users.

Requirements:

Valid MC Drivers Licence.

Minimum of 2 years of experience as a B-Double driver.

Safe driving record and a demonstrated commitment to road safety.

Strong knowledge of transportation regulations and best practices.

Ability to work long hours and be away from home for extended periods. (we do get you home once a week)

Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with customers and team members effectively.

Strong physical stamina to handle loading/unloading and driving for extended periods.

A commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.

Must pass a medical, drug test and background check.

Benefits:

Competitive remuneration, we pay 75c (Seventy Five Cents) per kilometre. Our B-Double drivers earn on average over $3,300 per week before tax.

If successful after trial period you will be made permanent with annual leave and personal leave entitlements.
