With over 50 years in the industry, 7R Logistics is well-respected as an industry leader in the safe transport and delivery of bulk liquids. An exciting new chapter in that story saw the addition of bulk gas transportation based in Chinchilla serving regional NSW and Queensland from early 2021.

The Role

We are currently looking for a B-double gas tanker driver to be based at Chinchilla. A B-double (MC) license and proven, safe driving record are essential and there's no getting around that. A DG license is preferred, but we can help you to gain it if you don't yet have that.

Obviously, you'll need to be skilled to perform your work safely and to the high standard that both you and we expect. While you will need to bring your safety-first attitude and MC license with you, full training is provided for the rest and we can even help you with BFM accreditation if you don't yet have that. You'll also need to pass regular medical checks and consent to random alcohol and drug testing and other initiatives so we can be sure you arrive home safely after every shift.

BFM accreditation and DG license (or willingness to gain them)

A genuine commitment to the safety of yourself, your colleagues and the general public.

A sincere willingness to take personal responsibility while cooperating with and supporting others in your team.

High professional standards, including personal presentation and behaviour, attention to detail, driving skills, and communication.

Hours

There is quite some flexibility in work hours, with 4 on 4 off or 7 on 7 off shifts being workable, typically working between 45 and 60 hours a week depending on time of year and other variables. For the longest runs, you might need to be in the truck for days at a time, but if your preferred shifts are on local runs, you shouldn't require that.
