Newcastle Golf Club (NGC) is the premier golf destinations in the region. Ranked Number 30 in Australia (Australia’s Top 100 Golf Courses – Australian Golf Digest Magazine 2023/24). We are now seeking casual Golf Operations Assistants to join our dynamic team.

We are looking for motivated individuals who have a passion for golf and a commitment to delivering exceptional service. If you have a strong understanding of golf operations and experience in a customer service-oriented environment, we would love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Golf Operations Assistant, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the Club’s golfing activities, working across a variety of tasks, including:

Proshop Operations: Assist with pro shop duties, ensuring the golf shop is well-stocked and running efficiently.

Competition Management: Help organize and manage both competition and social golf fixtures, providing exceptional service to golfers.

Driving Range Operations: Oversee driving range operations, maintaining a high standard of service and functionality.

Cart Fleet Management: Assist with the management of the cart fleet, ensuring carts are clean, well-maintained, and ready for use by members and guests.

Member and Customer Interactions: Provide outstanding customer service by addressing member inquiries, assisting with bookings, and maintaining a professional and friendly atmosphere.

What We Are Looking For:

Passion for Golf: A genuine interest in the game of golf and an understanding of the operations involved.

Experience in Golf Operations: Previous experience in a customer service or golf-related role, preferably in a golf club or resort environment

Customer-Focused: Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to providing excellent service to members and guests.

Flexible schedule, with the ability to work weekends and holidays as required
