Seashells Beachfront Resort located at Diamond Beach ( 20 minutes north of Forster NSW ) is currently looking for a Casual Grounds and Common Property Attendant.

We are a small resort with 27 apartments consisting of one and two bedroom apartments.

The successful candidate will be responsible for cleaning and testing of our outdoor pools and spa, cleaning of BBQ's and common property areas, light gardening and rubbish removal ,assisting housekeeping stripping linen from apartments if required . Reporting to the Resort Manager , the successful person will be adaptable and able to work solo or as part of a small team.

The successful applicants will possess the ability to perform the following tasks to the highest standards:

Ensure all equipment/pools are cleaned & tested correctly.

Excellent attention to detail .

Able to follow clear instructions .

Good communication skills.

Comfortable interacting with guests to enhance their experience

Hours of work are approx 2-3 hours days per week x 2 days per week on a rotating roster including weekends and public holidays . All shifts commence at 7am.

Cleaning of our BBQ areas to a high standard. Cleaning of associated common property areas.

Light gardening and pruning as required.

Rubbish control and removal.

Assisting housekeepers if required with stripping of linen from rooms and rubbish removal.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Previous experience in pool cleaning and chemical testing preferred

Strong understanding of manual handling and safe work practices

Full training will be provided to successful person.
