The opportunity

SHY Rehab' is seeking a dedicated and experienced Occupational Therapist, Speech Therapist, Behaviour Support Practitioner, or Clinical Psychologist to join our team in Queensland (Can be living anywhere from Gold Coast to Hervey Bay). As a full-time allied health professional, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive rehabilitation services to our diverse client base. We also accept contractors, part time or casual therapists.

Key responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify clients' needs and develop tailored intervention plans

Implement evidence-based therapy programs to support clients' physical, cognitive, and psychosocial wellbeing

Collaborate with clients, their families, and the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless, person-centred care

Maintain accurate client records and contribute to the continuous improvement of our services

Participate in professional development opportunities to stay up-to-date with best practices

Contribute to the growth and success of the SHY Rehab' team

What we're looking for

Relevant tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Behaviour Support, or Clinical Psychology

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and work effectively in a team

Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities to deliver effective, tailored interventions

Demonstrated commitment to professional development and evidence-based practice

Ability to work independently and manage a diverse caseload

Flexible and adaptable approach to meet the changing needs of our clients

Support our rural area (Fraser Coast, Rural Victoria) cliental
