We are seeking experienced Front of House (FOH) staff to join our team at Press* Food and Wine in Adelaide, SA 5000. This is a casual role, offering flexible working arrangements to suit your lifestyle. As an integral part of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our busy dining establishment.

What you'll be doing

Greeting and welcoming customers in a friendly and professional manner

Taking food and drink orders and accurately communicating these to the kitchen and bar staff

Serving food and beverages to customers in a timely and efficient manner

Maintaining a clean and organised front of house environment

Handling cash and credit card transactions with attention to detail

Assisting with table clearing and resetting as required

Providing recommendations on menu items and specials to enhance the customer experience

Responding to customer enquiries and addressing any concerns or complaints

What we're looking for

At least 2 years of experience in a similar front of house or customer service role within the hospitality industry

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and professional demeanour

Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Knowledge of food and beverage service, including proper table setting and etiquette

Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently as required

Flexible and adaptable to changes in customer demands and operational needs

Current Food Handling and Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certifications

Wine knowledge
