The Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Project Engineer to join our growing Sydney team. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will play a key role in planning, coordinating, and delivering major demolition and excavation works. This is a hands-on role requiring strong technical skills, stakeholder management, and a proactive approach to safety and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Assist Project Managers in delivering demolition and excavation projects from start to finish.

Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure timely and efficient outcomes.

Monitor and report on project budgets, schedules, and quality performance.

Ensure strict compliance with WHS, environmental, and regulatory standards.

Provide engineering and technical support, including troubleshooting and problem-solving.

Maintain project documentation, including risk registers, cost control, and scheduling tools.

Procuring material and equipment for the project ensuring timely delivery.

Preparation of monthly invoice detail with backing information in accordance with contract.

About You

Degree qualified in Civil/Structural Engineering or a related field.

2+ years’ experience in demolition, excavation, or civil construction projects (preferred).

Strong understanding of demolition methodologies, excavation practices, and regulatory frameworks.

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple stakeholders and maintain clear communication.

Highly motivated, results-driven, and committed to delivering safe, high-quality work.

Proficiency with project management and engineering software (AutoCAD/REVIT experience advantageous).
