About us

Growzone is a long day care with occupancy of 38 children place. We are a small centre located in Woodbridge, right next to the train station. We are looking for a highly motivated part-time or casual Early Childhood Teacher who is passionate about working with children aged 3 - 5 years and be part of our team.

Qualifications & experience

Bachelor of Early Childhood Education or an equivalent qualification as recognized by the Australian Children’s Education & Care Quality Authority (ACECQA).

A current and valid Working with Children Check

Current Provide an Emergency First Aid response in an Education and Care Setting.

Current Anaphylaxis and Emergency Asthma Management Training.

Accredited Child Protection Training

Current WA Driver's Licence if applicable

Tasks & responsibilities

Sound understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the National Quality Standard (NQS) to deliver high-quality education programs

Contribute to the development, implementation and update of the Quality Improvement Plan for the service.

Work closely with our educator, mentor, guide and support in implementing high educational program and practice.

Ability to work effectively with other educators, support staff and families to create an inclusive, responsive, and respectful learning environment

Facilitate play-based learning environment and develops learning programs responsive to children’s ideas, strengths and abilities.

Implement inclusive practice and lead an environment which honours diversity

Prior work experience in an early childhood setting would be a plus.
