About our region
West Arnhem Regional Council covers an area of almost 50,000 km2 of stunning natural landscape in the western part of Arnhem Land, Northern Territory.
More than two thirds of the region’s population of just over 6,000 identify as Aboriginal Australians, who reside in a collection of towns, communities and outstations. Council provides a range of local government services to five towns and communities across five wards with many popular tourist destinations.
The role
Lead the way in delivering Aged Care at Home and NDIS programs that are culturally vibrant, safe, and consistently exceed expectations. Be the champion for compliance and high performance under the new Aged Care Act and upgraded standards—making every client’s experience outstanding across our region
About you
Tertiary qualifications in Community Services, or be an experienced veteran (five years+) in delivering aged care or NDIS magic!
Able to engage, support and yarn with people of all backgrounds—especially Indigenous Australians—with warmth and flair!
Excel with words, create reports that dazzle, and communicate brilliantly on paper and in person!
Rapidly tackle tricky challenges, handle fast-paced days, and keep your cool while making great decisions!
Guide, encourage and cheer on small teams scattered far and wide—no cape required, just heart and know-how and willingness to jump in when needed
You will receive
Remuneration Package $116,089 – $123,670 (including salary $101,815 – $108,464)
6 weeks annual leave
