The Brisbane Motor Museum is a dynamic and growing destination celebrating motoring history through rotating themed exhibits and a permanent collection of classic vehicles. About the Role
Are you an enthusiastic and reliable Front of House professional looking to bring your energy to a vibrant and diverse role? The Brisbane Motor Museum is seeking a customer focused team member to support our café, kitchen, functions, and gift shop operations. This role offers variety, responsibility, and the chance to grow within a unique venue that blends hospitality with motoring history.

What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll play a key role in creating memorable guest experiences by:

Welcoming and engaging with guests across all museum touchpoints

Processing customer orders

Assisting in the day to day operations of the café, kitchen, gift shop, and front of house

Maintaining cleanliness and presentation standards throughout the venue

Supporting the delivery of corporate meetings, functions, and events

Stepping into shift supervisory responsibilities as needed (growth opportunity)

Barista experience required – limited training can be provided

What We’re Looking For
We're after someone who thrives in a fast paced environment, enjoys variety in their day, and takes pride in doing things well. Ideally, you’ll bring:

Previous FOH experience in a busy café or hospitality setting

Availability for a rotating roster, including weekdays and weekends

A strong eye for detail and presentation

A proactive, positive, and solutions focused attitude

Ability to work independently and collaboratively

A valid Food Handler Safety Certificate (or willingness to obtain)

A driver’s licence (preferred)

Experience in corporate or event settings is a bonus
