About the role

As the Packhouse Operations Supervisor at Patane Produce', you will play a vital role in overseeing the efficient and effective operation of the company's produce packaging facilities. Reporting to the General Manager, this full-time position is based in Myalup, WA and is responsible for ensuring the packhouse runs smoothly and productively.

What you'll be doing

Supervise all aspects of the packhouse operations, including production planning, inventory control, and quality assurance

Oversee the work of the packhouse team, providing leadership, training, and performance management

Implement and monitor safety and compliance protocols to maintain a safe and efficient working environment

Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce waste

Coordinate with other departments, such as production, sales, maintenance and logistics, to ensure seamless end-to-end operations

Foster a positive, collaborative culture within the packhouse team

What we're looking for

Proven experience (5+ years) in a packhouse or similar production environment, preferably in the horticulture industry

Strong operational skills, with the ability to plan, organise, and optimise workflows

Excellent people skills, including the ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team

Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels

Passion for the horticulture industry and a commitment to sustainable, efficient operations

High Risk License - Forklift Ticket (LF)
