We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Travel Consultant (Rewards & Luxury Specialist) to join The Well Connected Traveller team and organise, sell and manage the travel arrangements for a book of existing and new clients with the primary focus on reward/point bookings and luxury travel.

The Opportunity

As a talented Travel Consultant, you get to help our clients make their international travel dreams come true by booking a mix of reward flights, paid flights and luxury hotels, cruises and tours! The role has a focus on understanding airline frequent flyer programs and how to find and book international reward seats, so that means every day presents interesting itineraries for you to solve through creative solutions. We are a Virtuoso member so you get access to some of the most luxurious product globally which our clients absolutely love as amazing add ons for their trip.

We are a Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm business so you get to keep your nights and weekends to yourself. Operating from our conveniently located office suite at either 26 St Georges Tce (Perth) or 50 Queen St (Melbourne), not only do you get a premium office environment to work in but a fun team to help the day fly by. About You

If you have at least 2 years of international travel consultancy (retail) experience then we want to hear from you! The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Sabre and Tramada (mid-office) or similar and is highly competent as a travel agent working across flights, hotels and cruises.

You have a passion for travel with strong knowledge of airfares, airline product and frequent flyer programs. In addition some experience or knowledge in points bookings of reward seats is an advantage, as well as experience with high net worth and luxury clientele.

We value excellent problem solving skills, strong communications, great planning / time management skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

And of course we want people who can be themselves at work, noting we are primarily office based so you'd need to be based in Perth or Melbourne (not remote) and willing to be in the office 4 out of 5 days in the week.
