Statewide Restorations is looking for a motivated full-time Restoration Technician to join our expanding team. This is a hands-on role, perfect for someone who is practical, enjoys problem-solving, and doesn’t mind getting their hands dirty. You’ll be part of a trusted company that helps families and businesses recover from flood, fire, smoke, and mould damage.

Day to day responsibilities include:

Attend sites to assess and restore properties affected by water, fire, smoke, or mould.

Carry out restoration works including water extraction, structural drying, cleaning, and remediation.

Respond to emergency make safes such as floods, completing extraction, drying, and strip-out works.

Safely remove and remediate mould-affected materials.

Assist with carpet cleaning, drying, removal, and relaying where required.

Use and maintain specialised restoration tools and equipment.

Pack, clean and move furniture and contents as part of restoration works.

Keep vehicles, equipment, and worksites clean and well-maintained.

Accurately complete digital job reports and documentation.

Participate in an after-hours roster for urgent response jobs where required.

Communicate directly with clients in a professional, empathetic manner.

Requirements, but not limited to:

Background in building and contents restoration and/or background in cleaning/ carpet cleaning preferred, full training provided

Valid Drivers License

Working with children check

Police clearance check

Willing to travel for work

Respond to after-hours and weekend work

Great communication skills
