Join Our Team as a Trades Assistant – Kewdale, WA

Challenge Pumps is a trusted supplier of dewatering pumps, spare parts, and service to the mining industry in Australia and overseas. We're looking for a motivated Trades Assistant to join our Kewdale workshop and be part of a small, hands-on team.

What You'll Do:

Assist with assembly and general workshop tasks.

Carry out ground work and confined space activities safely.

Assist with store duties, including packing, dispatching, loading, and unloading trucks.

Keep your workspace organized and maintain excellent housekeeping standards.

Work independently when needed, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and safely.

What We're Looking For:

Current forklift licence (up to 10 tonnes) – essential.

Experience with hand tools and assembly work.

Ability to juggle multiple tasks and take on a variety of jobs.

Own reliable transport and a current driver's licence

Ability to pass pre-employment medical assessment, police check, and drug and alcohol screening.

Bonus Points:

Current HR Licence - Advantageous

Previous experience with industrial pumps.
