Sri Gouri Pty Ltd T/as KYABRAM MOTOR INN is located between Shepparton and Echuca/Moama in Victoria’s north. A country motel, the location is prime position for those interested in fishing and boating, or exploring what regional Victoria has to offer.

Our Motel Manager is a leader of our business, and is trusted by the local and visiting community. We are looking for someone available to work full-time (38 hours per week) to provide the best service to our customers.

Position Requirements/Skills:

The desired applicant will have all of the following skills;

● Great team leadership

● Exceptional customer service

● Ability to listen to customers and fix any issues

● Ability to problem solve and think quickly

● Experience training and supervising staff

Duties and Responsibilities:

The responsibilities of the Motel Manager include;

● Supervising Front Office staff, including Front Desk, Night Auditors

● Ensuring a high level of customer service is maintained at all times

● Assisting with scheduling of Front Office staff to ensure busy periods are covered adequately

● Troubleshooting all guest issues

● Processing compensation issues

● Communicating with housekeeping, owners, and central reservations departments

● Liaising with third parties as required

● Assisting with the coordination of organisation of Front Office information and administrative tasks

● Undertaking of the village layout, and provide directions when necessary

● Supplying guests with all information that they need to be able to enjoy their stay

● Maintaining health and safety standards and emergency procedures

● Safely manage the accounts and cash

● Maintaining the cleanliness and tidiness of the premise

● Forwarding all bills and account summaries to the accountant and owner

About you:

You should have 3 years experience working in customer service and leading teams. Motel or hotel management is deemed favourable. You must be willing to live and work in a regional area.
