MCWA is an in-home aged care provider with 40 years experience that focuses on supporting the multicultural ageing and elderly communities in Australia. We are currently seeking a Physiotherapist to work in Southern Suburbs to join our team.

This is a fulfilling opportunity for a qualified Physiotherapists who are passionate about community based home care that really make a positive difference to the ageing and elderly.

About the Role:

This specialised role will provide assessment and management of Physiotherapy services and activities to promote a healthy and balanced lifestyle. Some of the key duties and responsibilities for this role include:
• Provide holistic assessments of clients identifying physiotherapy needs, provide initial assessments, physiotherapy planning and create care plans
• Building client rapport and providing amazing customer service
• Develop and implement exercise programs and report changes in client’s health status
• Ensure a high quality of service and safety of all clients all around Melbourne
• While performing the duties of this position you will be expected to engage with clients and ensure they feel comfortable through relationship building and quality care.

To be considered for this role, you must have:
• Strong interpersonal, communication and team work skills
• Degree in Physiotherapy
• Current registration with AHPRA
• A current Police Check
• Well developed problem solving and decision making skills
• A current Drivers License and access to a reliable car
• Understanding of Duty of Care and respect the needs for confidentiality in dealing with participants and their families
• Understanding of the Aged Care Quality Standards
