Role responsibilities:

• Clients with mental health diagnosis requiring assistance in daily living.
• Daytime shifts Monday- Friday 7am-5pm with potential weekends.
• Provide personal care to clients with dignity and respect such as assisting with showering, grooming and dressing.
• Support clients in our community needing assistance with social support, transport to appointments, shopping or community outings.
• Continue to support clients to live in their own home by providing help with their domestic assistance, meal preparation, cleaning and most importantly, companionship.

What We’re Looking For:

• Certificate III or IV in Mental Health, Community Services, or equivalent
• Experience in mental health, community services or disability support is highly desirable
• Valid driver’s license and own vehicle is a MUST
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and part of the team

Mandatory Requirements:

• Current First Aid Certificate
• Current Police Check
• NDIS Worker Screening Check
• Working with Children Check
