- Base salary range: Level B, $118,150 – $139,812 p.a. plus 17% superannuation.
About the area
The School of Human Sciences is a large multi-disciplinary School focused on better understanding what it is to be human, from our structure, function, development and genetics to adaptation, performance, and evolution. The School is one of the largest in the University and offers undergraduate majors in Sport Science, Exercise and Health, Anatomy and Human Biology, Physiology and Neuroscience, and accredited postgraduate courses in Clinical Exercise Physiology and Audiology, as well as Applied Human Performance Science.
About the opportunity
- Undertake independent teaching and research in the area of Biomechanics and contribute more broadly to the teaching and research programs
- Coordinate and lead the instruction of core units, focusing on the foundations of biomechanics.
- Translation of research evidence into best practices that are relevant for our graduate students in life, the workplace and in research
About you
- Evidence of course development, including curriculum development, assessment task development, etc.
- Demonstrable track record of excellence in the conduct and communication of research, evidenced by peer-reviewed journal articles published in high quality journals.
- Demonstrable track record of successful competitive funding applications.
- Able to provide relevant supervision, mentoring, student support and assessment of student competencies in core practicum units
