About us:

Agile Mining Services is a privately owned company, based in Adelaide, providing specialist technical, mining, and mineral processing services to the South Australian iron ore industry. Our operations located near Coober Pedy currently mine and export 3Mtpa+ high grade Iron ore.

About the opportunity:

We are seeking experienced Drill Fitters to join our Maintenance Team.

The key responsibilities include:

Major repairs and servicing of all drilling and support equipment.

We are currently utilising Sandvik 650i Leopards and Atlas Copco L8 downhole hammer drill rigs. Experience with these machines would be greatly advantageous.

Effective management of documentation and reporting as per company requirements.

Ensure equipment is maintained safely in a timely manner to minimise cost and increase productivity.

Undertake necessary risk and pre-task assessments.

Attending site emergency breakdowns.

Diagnosing and fault-finding mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical problems.

Working collaboratively with all team members and stakeholders.

What you'll need to succeed

Experience as a drill fitter.

Australian recognised trade certificate.

Current HR License.

Working at Heights.

Clean National Police Clearance.

Desirable requirements:

The successful applicant will be required to:

Be site based on 2/2 roster

Work at other sites and operations.

Knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations.
