DLS Allied Health is hiring Speech Pathologists for:

Immediate start (1+ years’ experience), and

Our 2026 Graduate Program (commencing Monday, 2 February 2026).

About Us

We support 1,100+ clients across Victoria and New South Wales, delivering services in homes, schools, kindergartens, daycares, workplaces and the community. Our Speech Pathology teams work with people of all ages; 95%+ of services are for NDIS and NDIS Early Childhood Approach (ECA) participants.

Who are we looking for (Key Selection Criteria)?

The roles are based in Bendigo. The right person will:

Want to work with people from all backgrounds, with different goals and ambitions.

Pursue a specific area of interest (such as paediatrics), or gain experience from a varied caseload.

Be passionate about making a difference.

Love working in the community, delivering services to people in their homes, schools, workplaces, etc.

Responsibilities

Our Speech Pathologists' day-to-day responsibilities are split between:

Planning, delivering, and documenting therapy sessions.

Conducting assessments and writing reports.

Attending care team meetings, creating resources, and other activities to support the people you provide services to.

Weekly internal meetings including whole staff meetings, team meetings and internal training (plus, quarterly in-work hours social events!).

Clinical supervision either weekly or fortnightly.

2026 Graduate Program

For a graduate Speech Pathologist joining in 2026, you will enter our structured graduate pathway that includes:

Weekly supervision with a senior staff member (which continues in your second year).

Participate in our weekly Graduate Group.

Our graduate group begins as a combined OT and SP group, then splits into discipline-specific groups for more targeted learning opportunities.

The first six months of our graduate group sessions consist of structured learning on various topics led by a senior staff member.

After six months, our graduate group begins alternating between structured learning and peer support/discussion.

Structured Professional Development (both internally and externally provided) specific to your caseload and working in the NDIS.

As you get more experienced, you will continue professional development with support to choose what opportunities match your caseload and interests.

In addition to the structured PD provided at the beginning (where we pick PD for you), you will also continue your professional development based on your areas of interest and practice areas where you would like to feel more confident (where you pick PD for yourself).

Professional Development

We provide our staff with 2 weeks (10 days) of study/CPD leave and a budget of $2,500 each year to undertake professional development or learning experiences (based on a full-time position).

What Are We Offering?

For those joining our Graduate Program in 2026, we are offering a salary of $85,000 + Super + Leave Loading (full-time equivalent).

We aim to offer industry-leading graduate pathways, as we know how important the earlier years of your career are.

For those joining with 1 or more years of experience, we are offering a salary of $90,000 - $100,000 + Super + Leave Loading (full-time equivalent) based on your years of experience in both your role and specifically in the NDIS.

All positions are permanent and ongoing.

You will also receive:

Tools of the trade – a computer, phone, access to therapy resources, assessments, report writing templates, and more.

Access to fleet vehicles, where available, and reimbursement for personal travel at $0.99 per km otherwise.

Yearly CPD budget of $2500.

Flexible work schedules, including 8 or 9-day fortnights and other flexible options.

A hybrid work environment (WFH or our office, with appointments in the community).

5 weeks of annual leave (1 more than the award).

2 weeks of study/CPD leave.

2 weeks of personal leave.

Paid parental leave after 12 months.

Required Clearances/Qualifications

SPA registration (graduates by February 2026).

Current Working with Children Check, NDIS Worker Screening, and National Police Check.
