Reporting to the Venue Manager and collaborating closely with our Group Executive Chef, this exciting Head Chef opportunity offers the perfect platform to demonstrate your culinary talent and leadership, while advancing your career with one of South Australia's leading hospitality groups.

Key Responsibilities

Ownership of the menu and operational planning;

Stock management and control within the budgeted parameters;

Creating a harmonious environment amongst the team;

Management of all kitchen employees to ensure tasks are completed correctly and to quality standards;

Recruitment and training of kitchen staff;

Supporting career growth and development, to ensure the continual success of the business;

Ensure compliance of internal policies and procedures and the relevant statutory requirements; and

Foster and develop a high performing culture within your kitchen team, built on respect, passion, development inclusion and education/training.

About You:

Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in a Head Chef role;

Minimum Certificate 3 in Cookery achieved;

Confident/proven experience with managing financials including costings and development of budgets;

Experience with Buy Force an advantage; and

Passionate leader with the ability to guide and mentor your team!
