A full time (part time considered) for an experienced OT.

Excited by the opportunity influence service delivery, mentor the next generation of OTs, and lead innovation?

Are you experienced in assistive technology, complex intellectual and physical disability and diverse caseloads and also enjoy Aged Care?

This role is ideal for a Senior OT (Grade 3) who thrives on complexity, sees opportunity in change, and wants to shape the future of occupational therapy.

If you see opportunity where others see challenge, thrive on transparency and collaboration with colleagues and work well with diverse clinical cases within an autonomous framework to achieve creative success, then this might be the next right step in your career.

The team at Kadia is opening a position to join our clinical leadership team for a suitably experienced therapist who wants to amplify their clinical practice by working within an experienced team and play a critical role in supporting excellent outcomes for our clients. We believe in career development and see ourselves as the powerful tugboat in a flotilla of ships – showing strength, resilience and agility within the dynamics of the wider environment.

This role focuses on an 18+ case load across Intellectual disability, rare diseases, Assistive Technology and ‘home and living’ as well as aged care and fits alongside our paediatric and home modification services. It suits an occupational therapist who believes in the benefits of collaborative practice, lifelong learning and honoring the therapeutic process and who seeks to develop others in their professional pathways.

Excellence is the focus in not only what you deliver but also how you deliver it, and you thrive on working within a team who celebrate and approach the clinical space as a boutique experience for clients and therapists alike.

Your Average Week at Kadia:

Your caseload will be informed by your capacity with scope considering your development goals.

Your standard week at Kadia will see a balance of clinical and operational activities, with Tuesdays based at head office in Ringwood Eastland office to facilitate collaborative work and professional development. Other days will be spread across office, alternate sites and client homes, with autonomy to work from home or other sites (ie: Narree, Scoresby, Blackburn) as appropriate.

Our catchment consists of the East and Outer East of Melbourne with some extension scope to the south-east and statewide services on consideration.

If this sounds like the right role for you, however you are still developing Senior OT scope, we have scope to adjust the role to fit the right candidate.
