The team at Kadia is opening a position to join our clinical leadership team for a suitably experienced therapist who wants to amplify their clinical practice by working within an experienced team and play a critical role in supporting excellent outcomes for our clients. This role focuses on an 18+ case load across Intellectual disability, rare diseases, Assistive Technology and ‘home and living’ as well as aged care and fits alongside our paediatric and home modification services. It suits an occupational therapist who believes in the benefits of collaborative practice, lifelong learning and honoring the therapeutic process and who seeks to develop others in their professional pathways.

Your Average Week at Kadia:
Your caseload will be informed by your capacity with scope considering your development goals.
Your standard week at Kadia will see a balance of clinical and operational activities, with Tuesdays based at head office in Ringwood Eastland office to facilitate collaborative work and professional development. Other days will be spread across office, alternate sites and client homes, with autonomy to work from home or other sites (ie: Narree, Scoresby, Blackburn) as appropriate.
Our catchment consists of the East and Outer East of Melbourne with some extension scope to the south-east and statewide services on consideration.

We work predominantly within the NDIS space, with a focus on Assistive Technology, Complex Home Mods, Home and Living, Complex disability and Rare Diseases. We have expanded into paediatrics with an experienced paediatric team (Kadia Kids) and are continuing to expand our service to Insurance, DVA and Aged Care clients along with private work. This caseload will focus on AT, Home and Living, daily living skills and strategy development for individuals with intellectual, physical and neurodiverse challenges.
The Opportunity
We’re looking for a Senior Occupational Therapist 10+ years to join our existing clinical leadership team. You will (scaled on capability/role):
Lead / participate in innovative approaches to service delivery, embedding OT models and frameworks in practice alongside the senior leadership team.
Manage complex and competing demands with clinical confidence and strategic thinking
Optimise client outcomes by designing creative, tailored, and evidence-based solutions.
Mentor and develop Consolidated OTs clinically through supervision, training, and coaching, supporting their development in line with Michelle Bihary’s Gold Standard Supervision model.
Collaborate with leadership to shape programs, influence policy, and advocate for the role of OT in a changing healthcare system.
Support the roll out of industry leading programs
Support the clinical director to implement the organisations strategic plan

About You
You are a senior OT who:
Brings at least 10 years of rich, diverse practice experience (Senior / grade 3)
OR at least 6 years of community clinical practice for Grade 2 role
Excels in navigating complexity and competing priorities.
Evidenced history of balancing caseloads
Is energised by the chance to shape services and influence systems.
Believes in mentoring, training, and building the OT profession according to grade
Aligns with Kadia’s values and is motivated by making a lasting difference.
