Proudly West Australian-owned and operated, Acqua Drill Resources is currently seeking a field-based HD / Drill Fitter.

For over ten-years, Acqua Drill Resources has been providing hydrogeological drilling and test pumping services to Western Australia’s mining, agriculture and municipal sectors.

About the Role:

This position is a FIFO role on either a 2/1 or 2/2 roster from Perth on a Full-time permanent position with annual & personal leave entitlements plus remuneration incentives.

The successful candidate will need to have the following:

· Mechanical Trade Certificate recognised in Australia

· Three years of relevant experience (post trade certificate)

· Ability to work independently with limited supervision

· Exceptional personnel time management and planning

· Ability to work in a small-team environment

· Good communication skills

· Have basic computer skills

· HR/HC unrestricted current driver’s licence

· Able to obtain a national police clearance

· Able to pass a comprehensive medical including a drug and alcohol screen

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Diagnostic fault finding on mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems on drill rigs, mud pumps, air compressors and support vehicles

· Adhere to ADR's Maintenance Plan (including completion of all maintenance documentation)

· Manage breakdown repairs to all equipment

· Complete maintenance reporting daily, liaising with the site Supervisor and Maintenance Manager for all work completed.

· Complete parts request for critical items and consumables

· Be proactive in all preventative maintenance, including planning and communication with the drill crews

· Comply with internal and client-specific procedures & policies

· Complete required pre-task risk assessments

· Perform maintenance in accordance with Company and OEM standards ensuring a safe workplace and machine reliability.
