Gumdoctors is a well-established, specialist periodontal clinic located in the heart of Sydney’s CBD. We are committed to delivering high-quality periodontal and dental implant care in a calm, professional environment — and we’re looking for an experienced Dental Assistant to join our dedicated team.

About the Role:

We are seeking a qualified and caring Dental Assistant to support our specialist periodontists on a part-time basis — Wednesdays and Thursdays only. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a patient-focused, specialist setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Chairside assisting during periodontal and implant procedures

Maintaining strict infection control and sterilisation protocols

Preparing treatment rooms and surgical equipment

Supporting patients throughout their treatment journey

Assisting with administrative tasks as needed

About You:

Certificate III or IV in Dental Assisting (preferred)

Minimum 1 year of dental assisting experience (specialist experience an advantage)

Excellent communication skills and a compassionate, professional manner

Strong attention to detail and excellent infection control knowledge

Reliable, punctual, and a team player
