Pay: $70,000 - $85,000 per year

The Role:

In this role, you will perform skilled meat processing tasks while ensuring efficiency, quality, and compliance with workplace health and safety standards.

Your key responsibilities are, but not limited to:

• Performing skilled boning, slicing, or slaughtering tasks to meet production requirements.
• Handling knives and equipment safely and efficiently to ensure precision and quality.
• Adhering to workplace health and safety regulations, food hygiene practices, and company policies.
• Maintaining a clean and organised work environment in line with industry standards.
• Working as part of a team to meet production targets and operational deadlines.

Shift times are as follows:

• Slaughter Floor Day shift approximately - 6:00am - 4:00pm.
• Boning Room Day shift approximately - 5:00am - 2:00pm.
• Boning Room Afternoon Shift approximately - 2:30pm - 12:00am.

About You:

• Proven experience in a meat processing facility as a Boner, Slicer, or Slaughterman
• Proficient knife handling skills, including safe and efficient use of cutting tools
• Understanding of production processes and requirements to ensure quality and efficiency
• Commitment to workplace health and safety regulations and food hygiene practices
• Adherence to company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with industry standards
• Reliable work history, demonstrating a strong work ethic and consistency
• Ability to pass a physio and medical assessment to meet physical job demands
• Willingness to undergo pre-employment drug and alcohol screening as part of the hiring process
