As the Manager Regional Coordination, you will work collaboratively with Government and non-government service providers including the Domestic Family and Sexual Violence (DFSV) sector across the Northern Territory to ensure reform implementation is locally driven and responsive and enable coordination and strengthening of local service systems.
Your core focus will involve providing specialised advice and corporate support in the development and implementation of strategies, project plans and infrastructure programs for remote women’s safe houses, while providing leadership and line management to the Regional Coordinators to ensure a responsive, high quality and collaborative response to DFSV projects in regional and remote settings.
To meet the challenges of this strategic role, you require proven leadership skills within a high-paced environment and across geographically dispersed locations, demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the challenges of DFSV prevention and the ability to build sound partnerships with diverse groups and external stakeholders in the region.
Sound political acumen, cultural competence and exceptional communication and interpersonal skills together with proven experience working successfully with Aboriginal people across remote and regional locations is essential.
