HEQS imports and wholesales over 1000 SKUs into our NSW/QLD/VIC warehouse and constantly brings new products to market. While we are well established in the Sydney/Melbourne Metro, we are looking for an enthusiastic, energetic, and self-motivated sales representative to grow our business in Brisbane Metro and the Northern and Western regional areas of QLD. The primary focus will be on retail customers in the furniture and appliance sector, as well as wholesalers/distributors in the hospitality/accommodations sector.
About You:
We're on the lookout for an ambitious sales professional with a drive to succeed. Join our QLD on-road Sales Team, focusing on the growing Greater Brisbane area as well as the extended North and West regions. You will report directly to the National Sales Manager and work alongside our existing Sales Representative across the country.
Critical will be your ability and hunger to win market share and grow/strengthen relationships across the state.
The role encompasses:
visiting established and potential new customers;
selling in new product ranges;
backfilling gaps in customer ranging, taking orders and driving customer traffic to our website;
occasionally, merchandising stores;
conducting product education and training;
Completing call reporting;
Contributing to New Product Development, idea generation and communicating with key decision makers to win new business.
Some country travel will be required.
The package includes a salary based on experience, a fully maintained company car, superannuation, a company laptop, and a mobile phone. These items are also available outside work hours for personal use, providing additional salary package benefits. There is also the potential for performance-based bonuses.
Our ideal candidate will have:
Minimum of 2 years of selling experience as an on-road sales representative in retail and wholesale channels.
Minimum of 2 years of on-road B2B sales experience in metro areas and familiarity with the regional market
Minimum 5 years B2B sales experience, with at least 2 years in on-road territory management
Social Media Savvy - Business and Personal Branding Expert.
Proven ability to generate leads and build professional networks through social media platforms
Proficiency with LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram for business development and brand promotion
Familiar with Dynamic ERP/CRM systems and will be able to utilise the data from the system and generate quotes directly to clients.
Experience selling a large number of SKUs across a broad range of customers is desired.
Highly enthusiastic and determined to grow and improve the existing business, high keyboard typing speed and multi-tasking skills are critical in our environment.
Minimum typing speed of 40 words per minute with accuracy
Learn quickly and can adapt to the company's operating methods & systems.
A desire to provide exemplary service to customers in a manner that achieves sales growth.
Excellent presentation and communication skills. Good computer and data entry skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM systems, and mobile sales applications
Valid Australian driver's licence with clean driving record
Valid Australian driver's licence with no major traffic violations in the past 3 years
Australian citizenship or permanent residency with unrestricted work rights
