The Long-Established Mercure Rockhampton is located on Victoria Parade, overlooking the Fitzroy River in the heart of Rockhampton City, featuring 74 accommodation rooms, 5 conference venues and the iconic Riverside Restaurant & Bar. The Riverside Restaurant & Bar offers unique buffet and a la carte breakfast / brunch and dinner, a strong focus on local food and beverages.

About Role:

We are seeking energetic, confident and motivated individuals to come & sling cocktails in our waterfront, casual Seafood & Grill Restaurant, The Riverside Restaurant. We have part-time and casual positions available for restaurant attendants ranging from 20+ hours per week, with the option for increased hours over peak periods.

Role requirements include:

A true passion for food and beverage.

Bar experience essential

Exceptional organisation skills.

Be warm, personable, and sociable - bring your personality to the table.

Advanced communication skills.

Able to thrive under pressure.

Hold a current RSA Competency Card.

Ability to serve Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in a correct manner.

Impeccable presentation, hygiene and grooming standards.

Flexible availability over a rotating roster including weekends.
