Cook – Bramblewood Retirement Village (Full-Time, Normanhurst NSW)
RetireAustralia is looking for a dedicated Cook to join our friendly team at Bramblewood Retirement Village in Normanhurst, NSW.
In this full-time role, you’ll prepare tasty, nutritious meals that make a real difference in the lives of our residents. You’ll also help keep the kitchen running smoothly and safely, following all food safety and health guidelines.

Hours of shifts are:
- Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 10am – 6pm
- Wednesday, Saturday 09.30 – 6pm
- A late evening at Bramblewood - maybe a themed evening or certain holidays e.g. Christmas etc. - finish time 7pm
What you’ll do:
- Cook and serve high-quality meals for residents – (between 6 to 30 residents)
- Help manage stock, food orders, and kitchen costs
- Follow food safety and hygiene standards
- Cater for special events and dietary needs
- Respect resident privacy and confidentiality
What you’ll need:
- Experience in a similar cooking role
- Ability to prepare meals for a variety of dietary needs
- Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery (or similar)
- Current Food Handling Certificate
- Police Check, First Aid & CPR (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to pass a medical and drug/alcohol test
