About us
Founded in 2014, AIHCS is a private practice based in Lane Cove on the Lower North Shore and also has >50 NDIS clients in the community.
We have a Paeds team involving Physio, OT and speech but you need to have the ablity to work independently.
Our vision is to deliver evidence-based and individualised programs, tailored to meet every need. To achieve this, we work collaboratively with parents and teaching professionals to ultimately ensure children succeed not only in therapy but also in the classroom.
The opportunity
An exciting opportunity is now available for a passionate and quality Speech Pathologist to join our amazing team and take the next step in their career.
Working with young children through to adolescent clients and their families within the community, you will provide high-quality services to help our clients and their families thrive!
For the ideal candidate we would consider anything from 1-5 days a week
We are open to anything from a contracting role ($75-110 per client seen)
to a more secure part time role 2-4 days a week leading into a FT role next year

Duties and responsibilities
Liaise with schools, preschools and other allied health professionals
Provide evidence-based services to children with a range of speech, language, learning, social skills, executive functioning, and literacy needs (as an NDIS provider, you will also support children with a range of disabilities)
Work with Indigenous and Torres Strait Island students
Current case load:
You would immediately absorb 4-6 NDIS clients in the community and 6 or so private clients around the lane cove area all between ages 3-15.
What you need
Unrestricted Australian working rights
Graduate or postgraduate qualifications in Speech Pathology
Current Speech Pathology Australia Membership
Current working with children check
Minimum of 1 years experience as a Speech Pathologist
Proven ability in speech and language disorders
Experience delivering therapy within the home, educational and community-based settings
Current drivers licence, reliable insured vehicle
Friendly personality and the ability to relate with clients, parents, and educators
Knowledge/exposure to Spalding or other certified literacy programs
Proactive mindset with strong organisational skills
